The purpose of the Organization for Computational Neurosciences is to create a scientific and educational forum for students, scientists, other professionals, and the general public to advance, share, and discover the state of knowledge in computational neuroscience. Everyone, without exception, is welcome at OCNS. To this end, we encourage everyone interacting with the community, as a member or otherwise, to treat each other respectfully. The Code of Conduct applies as a set of guidelines to enable this. It is meant to be followed at all times, on all community channels including conferences, forums, e-mails, discussions, social media, and any other platforms used by the community. Specific GuidelinesThis is not an exhaustive list of things that you can not do. Rather, please take it in the spirit in which it is intended.
Diversity statementOCNS strongly acknowledges diversity as our strength. The Organization actively attempts to enhance the participation of underrepresented sections of society. EnforcementIf you experience or become aware of behaviour that does not adhere to the Code of Conduct, please point the involved parties to this Code of Conduct assuming good faith. It is more likely that they are unaware of their harmful behaviour rather than that they intentionally engage in it. Should difficulties arise, please report the situation to the OCNS Board immediately at conduct AT cnsorg.org. |
