Member Rights and Duties


The Organization for Computational Neuroscience (OCNS) is a non-profit corporation, incorporated in the State of California, USA. Its mission is to support computational neuroscientists around the world in their professional activities and to promote the research field in general.

Membership of OCNS is open to scientists with an academic degree in computational neurosciences or a related field and to students currently enrolled in a degree-granting institution pursuing an academic degree in computational neurosciences or a related field.

There are three categories of regular members:

  • Students
  • Postdocs
  • Faculty

 

Members should agree to the OCNS Bylaws and have to accept to receive electronic communication from OCNS. Member rights are detailed in the OCNS Bylaws. An important member right is to vote for new Directors of OCNS. In addition, members enjoy a number of benefits.
