CNS*2026 Halifax: Registration Fees

Different rates are charged for Students, Postdocs, and Faculty (and others), and OCNS Members receive large reductions in each category. You can apply to become a member; the total for membership fees + meeting registration for members is usually lower than meeting registration for non-members.

Please also note that the main registration fee does not include a banquet ticket. 

Early registration ends 13th May 2026, for non-members and 20th May 2026 for members. Afterwards, late registration fees are charged.

Note: you can add items to your initial registration at a later date (e.g., add banquet ticket, tutorials, workshops, etc.).

Reduced fees for members from low-and-middle-income countries

Members who are based at an institution in a low-and-middle-income country can apply for reduced registration fees on this form. If you are not yet a member you can apply to become a member.

Payment

Payment is by credit card only. The only acknowledgement of registration and payment is by e-mail. You will receive two emails, one with the confirmation of registration and one with an attached pdf invoice confirming payment. Make sure all necessary information (institution address, VAT, billing address etc.) is entered in the appropriate box. Certificates of attendance can be obtained after the meeting.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Registration/Optional Fees

90% refund if cancelled by May 13 2026 (this reduction from 100% is to cover our transaction processing fees).
70% refund if cancelled by June 11, 2026.
No refund if cancelled after June 11 2026.

No partial refunds. Please e-mail us to request a cancellation. Costs for bank wire transfers may be charged.

Becoming a member after registration is not a valid reason for cancellation, the registration fees will not be refunded.
