CNS*2022: Call for TutorialsTutorial proposal submission instructions for CNS*2022Tutorials are intended as introductions to the main methodologies of various fields in computational neuroscience. Tutorials are particularly tailored for early-stage researchers as well as researchers entering a new field in computational neuroscience. CNS*2022 Tutorials will take place on the first day of the meeting, 16 July 2022, with a typical total attendance of ca. 100 participants allowing for four concurrent sessions during the day.
As approved by the OCNS Board on July 13, 2019, accepted tutorials are eligible to receive a maximum of one tutorial registration waiver for an organizer, and exceptionally an additional tutorial registration waiver depending on the length of the tutorial. Software showcase sessions do not receive any funding, travel award, or free registration.
Please refer to tutorials from the past meeting for examples. Showcases will be combined into one continuous afternoon program. SUBMISSION of the proposal for CNS*2022 Tutorials is by email to tutorials AT cnsorg.org. DEADLINE: Tutorial proposals should be submitted before April 15, 2022. Registration: Tutorial registration will occur through the OCNS registration website for CNS*2022. All tutorial participants, including speakers, must register. Each tutorial is eligible to receive tutorial registration waivers for max. 1-2 speakers (depending on the length of the tutorial). Registration waiver: A limited number of Tutorial Registration Waivers will be available for tutorial organizers (maximum one waiver per tutorial). Exceptionally an additional tutorial registration waiver could be allocated by the chair. Priority will be given to postdocs and early career faculty. Please indicate which speakers you would like to be considered for this mechanism in your submission. The chair reserves the right to approve or not a registration waiver based on seniority, with priority given to young researchers. Please address any questions to tutorials AT cnsorg.org.
